Insight VR was my solution to uprising problem I discovered when researching non-verbal communication in the digital world.
Virtual reality technologies are improving and the implementation of facial tracking is becoming more and more common. This brings a whole new level of communication to users, which can be difficult for those with impaired social skills.
My solution to this issue is an accessibility option which utilises AI to calculate the emotions of users around you in virtual reality environments.
The emotions of users aren't always clear black and white, so the detection system uses an array of variables to measure the intensity of emotion.
The face detection graphics use the outline stroke to determine the intensity of the emotion, along with colours to build an association with certain emotions which can then be easily decoded by the user.
